Client: LNBP at Braunston Community Boating (formerly known as the London Narrow Boat Project)


Brief: An ongoing promotional initiative to a wide range of user groups, designed to raise the awareness of the organisation and the project's services and objectives.

Requirement: Full page advertorial in selected lifestyle and trade media, including:-

  • The Village Emporium, a bi-monthly lifestyle publication distributed to over 20,000 households within a 20 mile radius of the project's boats based at Braunston, Northants.
  • Crick Boating Times, the monthly published newspaper for the Crick Boat Show and Waterways Festival.

Outcomes:  A series of enquiries and leads requesting further information about the organisation, services offered and costs. Enquiries were received from local and regional Scout and Guide Leaders, and also Community Groups as a result of the coverage placed and seen.

A number of bookings were placed following further discussion and site/fam trip visits by enquirers.

Additional enquiries were received from two local historical societies about a presentation talk opportunity and boat trip.
