New video for LNBP Community Boating

It is always great to see another recent mini-project and development come together and especially one with visual appeal.

The first of two new promotional videos for my client LNBP Community Boating at Braunston is now online.

LNBP Community Boating are a non-profit charity with two full-size canal boats based at the historic junction of the Oxford and Grand Union Canals at Braunston in Northamptonshire.

The organisation was founded in 1981 by a group of teachers, youth workers and canal enthusiasts who recognised the benefit of introducing children and young people, particularly from the inner cities, to the enjoyment of canals and inland waterways.

For nearly 40 years they have provided the opportunity for schools, colleges and a wide range of community groups and organisations to enjoy canal boat holidays and short breaks and day trips experiences to sample life on the canal and all its benefits.

My brief as the charity's Press and Media Manager was to produce a new marketing video designed to promote their offering and attract potential new groups.

The use of video plays an increasingly powerful role in brands' social media strategies and marketing activities, something which LNBP are keen to embrace.

Working closely with Simon Ainley of PinpointVideo in Rugby, filming took place in October last year in and around Braunston with two videos produced – a short version designed for social media and a longer version which is to be embedded on the LNBP website.

The first shorter video has now been released and is online. Click here to view.

And look out for the second offering to be released shortly.
