Latest newsletter for canal boating charity

It goes without saying that the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic has been and continues to be wide-reaching.   And that includes with many of my clients.

LNBP  Community Boating is a non-profit charity operating two full-sized canal boats from Braunston in Northamptonshire. They welcome a wide range of community groups and organisations to enjoy weekend and midweek residential breaks on the Oxford and Grand Union canals of central England and to experience life on our historic canals.

This year has been a frustrating boating season for them and their client groups due to the outbreak and the resulting restrictions on movement and social distancing, to the point they have had to cancel all their group bookings for 2020.

Nevertheless there is always plenty going on behind the scenes and especially with planning for 2021 which will be their 40th anniversary.

For my part I manage all their sales and marketing communications which covers everything from sales letters, marketing brochures and materials, website copy and news content, press and media releases to management of their social media channels of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Part of my work also includes production of LNBP's e-newsletter – which is collated and distributed every quarter – of which the latest edition is now available to read online.

And keep an eye out for updates from them on their website (and from me too) on plans for their 40th anniversary next year. Hopefully life will have reverted back to some sort of normality from the pandemic by then.
